Patch init_boot

Inside DarKKernel

  1. Open DarKKernel and go to the root install section.
  2. Select your device. Select factory image file.
  3. Start patching inside the app.
  4. Wait for the generated patched image output.
  5. Export the patched image and continue with your regular flashing workflow using fastboot, odin or whatever.

Output

The app creates a patched image with a generated name format such as:

darkkernel_patched-RANDOMTEXT.img

Always use the correct image for your exact device build. Incorrect boot images can break boot.
